Olympia building - Sports Center
Olympia Building is a 1960-1963 design by Bedaux. The steel columns supporting the hall's roof still look like they were completed yesterday.
Internally, the building has become quite different in design, with a multitude of fields for various sports, fitness rooms, locker rooms, meeting venues, and even a sauna. In a number of places inside, Bedaux's hand is still clearly recognizable, for example in the corridors around the courtyard. Olympia Building is part of a large sports complex with outdoor areas as well. The whole complex is used not only by students from Tilburg University, but also from Avans and Fontys.
