Lecture Junior University: ‘It is very normal to feel alone sometimes’
29th November 2023During the second lecture of the new series of Junior University, social psychologist Tila Pronk captivated an audience of more than 550 children with her research on loneliness and exclusion. Students aged 9 to 12 were taught, among other things, how they can ensure that other children do not feel lonely or excluded.

Shanghai University of Finance and Economics delegation visits Tilburg University
29th November 2023A delegation from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) visited Tilburg University on November 27. They were welcomed by Wim van de Donk, Rector Magnificus and President of the Executive Board, and Marike Knoef, Dean of the Tilburg School of Economics and Management,. The visit focused on strengthening opportunities for joint research and education.

Current student registrations at Tilburg University: number of students stabilizes
15th November 2023To date, 19,506 students are registered at Tilburg University. Student numbers have stabilized and that is in line with Tilburg University’s strategy: quality over quantity. The number of international first-year Bachelor’s students has decreased.

Springer OA Agreement: maximum cap reached
15th November 2023The Springer Transformative Agreement with the Dutch university libraries has reached, on the 9th of November, its article maximum quota allocation for the current year of 2023. If your manuscript is accepted between now and January 1, 2024, the Open Access (OA) publishing costs will no longer be covered by the agreement.
