About the Tilburg - Orange Tulip Scholarship Korea

The Orange Tulip Scholarship Program (OTS) gives talented students in South Korea the opportunity to study in the Netherlands with a partial tuition fee waiver. Tilburg University offers 5 of these scholarships.

Characteristics of the scholarship

The scholarship beneficiaries receive a tuition fee waiver and will pay a tuition fee of € 4.400. 

Who can apply

Students must meet the following basic criteria to apply for the Orange Tulip Scholarship South Korea:

  • South Korean nationality;
  • In the possession of at least an undergraduate (Bachelor's) degree;
  • Apply and be accepted for any of the listed Master's programs below;
  • Excellent study results in your relevant (under) graduate program. As an indication, you must have graduated (or can prove that you are going to graduate) with an average result of at least 8 (out of 10) or must be among the 10% of your class;
  • Complete and the submit the complete form of the Orange Tulip Scholarship by April 1, 2018.

Application Procedure

First you will need to follow the application procedure of Tilburg University. Once you received your letter of (un)conditional acceptance, you can apply for the Orange Tulip Scholarship South Korea through Nuffic Neso South Korea. Nuffic Neso South Korea will review your application first and then Tilburg University will make the final selection. The deadline to apply for the Orange Tulip Scholarship South Korea is April 1st 2018. In order to be able to submit your application in time, you will need to apply for your program at Tilburg University before March 1st 2018.

After your application

The list of scholarship beneficiaries will be announced on May 1st 2018. Students will have 10 days to accept this scholarship. In case a student rejects the scholarship, Tilburg University will offer the scholarship to the first person on the reserve list.
