1: Complete your enrollment and pay your tuition fees

In order to be fully enrolled as a student at Tilburg University, you must turn your conditional admission into unconditional.

2: Arrange the following practical matters
Arranging your accommodation
We advise you to start exploring the housing opportunities in Tilburg in time. We can help you find the right sources of information in your search for a room.
Our Immigration Team will guide you through the Dutch immigration procedure to ensure that you successfully arrange everything needed.
Arrange your insurances
When living in the Netherlands, you are required by law to have health insurance. Make sure that you have the appropriate liability and travel insurance as well.
Open a Dutch bank account
In the Netherlands, payment is mostly done by a debit card. ABN AMRO's Student Package is free of charge for international students.
3: Participate in our introduction activities
Online Registration Day
During our Registration Day, we will welcome you and offer you a number of (online) services to make sure you have a pleasant and a well prepared start in Tilburg.
What does my study program introduction look like?
The compulsory study program introduction will give you the opportunity to meet your fellow students. Receive all the information you will need about your program to have a successful start.
Introduction Week (TOP Week)
Tilburg Orientation Program, TOP, organizes the introduction week for all new incoming students in Tilburg. Get to know Tilburg, and start with your new adventure. Participation is voluntary.
4: Ensure a smooth start to your studies
Where can I find my course schedule? What can I expect my classes to be like?
You can find detailed information about your academic program, timetable, and exam schedule on the Course Catalog.
How to register for courses?
You have to register for (language) courses, working methods and written exams via our online study portal OSIRIS Student. Please read the instructions carefully.
What books do I need to buy?
You will find the complete course literature under the course description in the online OSIRIS Course Catalog.
How can I buy a laptop or software at a discount?
As a student you can buy software (e.g., Microsoft Office or SPSS), laptops and tablets at large discounts via the not-for-profit SURFspot webshop.
Which study and student organizations are there?
Study and student organizations take your student life to a whole new level. Meeting like-minded new students and making new friends has never been easier!
