Here you will find the tuition fees for our Master's programs, an estimation of the cost of living in Tilburg, and the available scholarships for prospective international students.

Tuition fees

When you wish to study at Tilburg University, you must pay a tuition fee.

  • Tuition fees cover the cost of lectures and facilities provided by the university, such as the extensive university library, Wi-Fi on campus, and symposia and other meetings.
  • Tuition fees at Tilburg University are always for one full academic year.

Estimated monthly costs of living

Besides the tuition fees, you will have living costs and other expenses. You will find life in Tilburg relatively inexpensive compared to life in other Dutch university cities, such as Amsterdam and Utrecht. The approximate cost of living is between € 925 en € 1.125 per month.

Scholarships for incoming international Master's students

Committed to financially supporting talented and motivated students, Tilburg University offers scholarships for both prospective and current students.

Please note that the number of scholarships is limited and mainly targeted at students with excellent study results. Tilburg University does not offer scholarships for pre-Master's programs.

    Scholarship for excellent EU students enrolling in the International Master in Management of IT (IMMIT) at Tilburg School of Economics and Management.
  • Deutsche Bildung Student Funding
    Student financing offer for students from Germany.

  • CONICYT Scholarship
    Scholarship available for Master and PhD candidates from Chile. Tilburg University offers an additional tuition waiver.
China
  • Sino-Dutch Bilateral Exchange Scholarship
    Joint Scholarship Program for Chinese Master and PhD students, who will take a Master program or full PhD study or period of PhD dissertation research at Tilburg University.
  • China Scholarship Council (CSC)
    Top students from China are encouraged to study at Tilburg University through a scholarship program developed in collaboration with the China Scholarship Council (CSC).

  • Tilburg - Orange Tulip Scholarship Indonesia
    Tuition waiver (Orange Tulip Scholarship) + € 10,000 (Holland Scholarship) for outstanding Indonesian students enrolling in a Master's degree program at Tilburg University.
  • Beasiswa Unggulan Scholarship
    Scholarship for excellent Indonesian students enrolling in a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD program at Tilburg University.
  • DIKTI PhD Scholarship
    Scholarship for Indonesian lecturers and education staff at Indonesian universities who will do a PhD at Tilburg University.
  • Indonesian Education Scholarship (LPDP)
    The Indonesian Education Scholarship (BPI) for Master’s and PhD programs is a scholarship program funded by the Indonesian government and is managed by LPDP to finance higher education in Indonesian or overseas institutions.
  • OKP + LPDP - extended for 2023-2024
    Interested mid-career professionals can now register for a scholarship. The joint scholarship programme will combine the strategic focus of the Orange Knowledge Programme with that of LPDP. The joint programme will target: mid-career professionals under 35 years old; 1- year master’s programmes focusing on Food and Nutrition Security, Water management including climate and energy, Security and rule of law and in particular cyber security (a list of eligible courses can be found on www.studyinholland.nl).

Liberia
  • University of Liberia Scholarship
    Scholarship (tuition waiver + budget) for a maximum of four students/staff from the University of Liberia accepted for a one-year Master's program.
Mexico
  • FIDERH Scholarship
    Scholarship available for Mexican citizens, with a bachelor's degree, that have an unconditional offer for a Master or PhD.
  • Fundación Beca
    Scholarship for outstanding Mexican students enrolling in a Master's degree program at Tilburg University.
  • NL Scholarship (previously called Holland Scholarship)
    Scholarship of €10,000 for students from  Brazil, Colombia, India, Mexico, Russia or Vietnam admitted to a one-year Master's program of Tilburg University.
  • FUNED Scholarship
    Scholarship for outstanding Mexican students enrolling in a Master's degree program at Tilburg University.
  • CONACYT-FUNED call
    CONACYT, the main scholarship provider in Mexico, published its CONACYT-Funed call for Master degrees. More information for 2023-2024 is not available yet.
