dr.ir. Martijn Schoot Uiterkamp

Bio

Ik ben een wiskundige met een grote passie voor het bijdragen aan de Sustainable Development Goals (duurzameontwikkelingsdoelstellingen) en voor het oplossen van complexe maatschappelijke uitdagingen. Ik gebruik mijn expertise in operationele research en wiskundige optimalisatie om problemen in deze domeinen aan te pakken. In het bijzonder werk ik aan algoritmisch energiemanagement voor de energietransitie en aan data-gedreven beslisondersteuning voor pandemische paraatheid.

Ik promoveerde aan de Universiteit Twente in 2021 en werkte als postdoctoraal onderzoeker aan de Technische Universiteit Eindhoven. Sinds januari 2023 ben ik universitair docent in operationele research bij Tilburg University.
