Matti Vuorre

Bio

Ik ben psychologisch onderzoeker aan de afdeling Sociale Psychologie, waar ik psychologisch functioneren in de context van digitale technologieën en online/virtuele omgevingen bestudeer. Veel van mijn meest recente onderzoek richt zich op de rol die digitale technologieën - met name videogames - spelen in het welzijn van individuen. In mijn werk pas ik statistische methoden toe op grootschalige datasets en voer ik gecontroleerde experimenten uit. Ik leg ook de nadruk op transparantie en reproduceerbaarheid van al mijn werk. Naast mijn huidige onderzoeksonderwerpen heb ik geschreven over meta-cognition en heb ik een grote interesse in methodologie (bijv. hier) en toegepaste statistiek (hier) binnen de psychologische wetenschappen.
