Bio

In my research I am curious to learn more about how teams and small groups of people function with direct implications for organizations. In my academic career I have studied topics such as team processes, diversity, collective intelligence, leadership (and charismatic leadership in particular) and multiple team membership. My work was published in journals such as Leadership Quarterly, British Journal of Psychology, International Journal of Project Management and Small Group Research. As a teacher I give lectures on topics such as Organization Development and Complexity within Organizations. In 2021 I won the Tilburg University Teaching Innovation Prize. Occasionally, I also do consultancy tasks for various organizations (e.g. assessment of diversity programs).
