Renata’s onderzoeksinteresses liggen op het gebied van virtueel (project)werk en meervoudig teamlidmaatschap, vooral in relatie tot leiderschap en prestaties.

Ze is docent bij de vakgroep Organisatie wetenschappenen lid van de opleidingscommissie.

Haar werk is gepubliceerd in internationale peer-reviewed tijdschriften, waaronder Leadership Quarterly, International Journal of Project Management, Human Resource Management Review, Group & Organization Management, European Management Journal en Applied Psychology: An International Review.
