At the invitation of the Dutch Research Council (NWO), Saskia Lavrijssen joined its Roundtable Law and Public Administration for the domain of Social Sciences and Humanties (SSH). The roundtable advises NWO on research policy.

Saskia Lavrijssen, professor of Economic Regulation and Market Governance and department chair of TILT, plans to include suggestions or ideas from Tilburg Law School in her advice.

There are six SSH Roundtables, each acting on behalf of a cluster of academic disciplines within the social sciences and humanities. The purpose of the tables is to advise NWO's SSH Domain Board on policy, programming within the framework of the National Science Agenda, mission-driven innovation policy and NWO procedures based on wishes and needs from the research constituency. Each advisory table consists of 12 researchers, including the chairs, and together reflect the SSH research field.
