Sing, dance & play along!
Come join, enjoy, or go crazy! There are plenty of performances, games, workshops, guided tours, DJs and there is the total madness of 'Je Weet Wel'!
Night University is also there to experience and go crazy! To loosen up, you can start the evening right away with a Zumba fiesta latina workshop! Many more workshops will follow in the ballet hall of the Esplanade building: Contemporary Dance, Mindfulness in Movement, Club yoga, Mindfulness, and of course a Latin dance workshop at the end. There are also workshops Improtheater (Rataplan, in Dutch) and Acting (Kaleidoscope), which take place in the Dante building.
But there is much more...
If you enjoy the quiet more, there is the classical music of Fortissimo Orchestra, their duet, the Pop choir Epic, the classical student choir TiSK or you can go to the Bonfire Open Mic where you can listen to poems, stories and live music . 'Open Mic' also means that you can spontaneously contribute to the program yourself. During the night you can take a look on the Esplanade Promenade at the dancers of Dance Nation and DansLab Zuid, they have elevated dancing to an art.
Are you more visually or spatially inclined? There are guided tours of art or architecture that will give you an even better experience of the campus. Are you more into the games and quizzes? Then definitely do a round in the Dante building. Or combine the quizzes with a tour of the fields with the Language and Culture treasure hunt, organized by the Language Center.
If you are more into sports, go to the Exercise plaza in front of the Tias building. There is slackline, walking football, circus games, disc golf, badminton, etc. Are you more into a mind sport, then a great challenge awaits you: play chess in the CUBE foyer against grand master Max Warmerdam and see how you do.
If you prefer to completely release all brakes, you should dance in the Silent Disco or roar your lungs out like a Prof in Karaoke! To top it off, you can dance, roar and go crazy with the piano entertainers of 'Je Weet Wel' in the Esplanade Cafe!
