New closing time – 19:00 hrs. – for several office buildings as of January 30
As of Monday, January 30, 2023, several office buildings on Tilburg University campus will close at 19:00 hrs. The main reason for this decision is to reduce energy consumption and, by extension, energy costs. Adjusting opening hours is the logical way forward in times when we all have a responsibility to reduce our ecological footprint. The new closing times will be evaluated before the summer.
Book a place to work or study
Occupancy rates, lists of shared facilities and functionalities, and availability of security were used to determine which buildings will remain open after 19:00 hrs. New openings hours will be reflected in the various schedules as of the start of the second semester (February 2023). If you are looking for a place to work or study after 19:00 hrs., you are welcome to CUBE, the Library, and the Montesquieu Learning Center. Advance bookings can be made through the booking system.
Exceptions
No changes will be made to the opening hours of the following buildings: Academia, the Library, CUBE, the Montesquieu Learning Center, Vigilant, Restaurant, Esplanade, the Faculty Club, Cobbenhagen, Olympia (the Sports Center) and Zwijsen building.
