Global management of social issues addresses the topic of sustainable development by adopting an interdisciplinary, multilevel perspective. In particular, it draws on the disciplines of organization studies and sociology to understand complex social challenges and trigger the social and economic drivers of sustainable development.

Politics, Policy and Societal Development (track of MSc Sociology)
Address global societal challenges such as poverty, migration, climate change, or humanitarian interventions from a societal, policy and political perspective. In this track of the MSc Sociology you will get a macro-level perspective on sustainable development and you will understand the triggers of it, based on the theories and methods pertinent to the specialization Global Management of Social Issues.
Organizing for Global Social Challenges track
Organizing for Global Social Challenges (track of MSc Organization Studies)
Address global societal challenges such as poverty, migration, climate change, or humanitarian interventions from the viewpoint of organizations and private businesses. In this track of the MSc Organization Studies you will get a meso-level perspective on sustainable development, based on the theories and methods pertinent to the specialization Global Management of Social Issues.
