Bio

Ik ben gepromoveerd in de ontwikkelingspsychopathologie aan de Radboud Universiteit, waarbij ik zowel de psychometrische eigenschappen van een screeningsinstrument voor psychosociale problemen als de ontwikkeling van internaliserende problemen bij kinderen onderzocht met behulp van longitudinale multi-informant/method data (2009-2014). Parallel werkte ik in de klinische praktijk (2017; registratie GZ-psycholoog), waarbij ik bij Karakter, Kinder- en Jeugdpsychiatrie Universitair Centrum, mijn passie ontdekte voor systemisch werken. Tijdens mijn klinische werk heb ik ervaring opgedaan met het behandelen van risicovolle emotieregulatieproblemen via systemische, outreachende en hoog intensieve zorg. In 2024 ben ik overgestapt naar de afdeling Ontwikkelingspsychologie aan de Universiteit van Tilburg en heb ik als doel conceptueel systeemonderzoek te verbinden met de klinische praktijk. Mijn missie is om bij te dragen aan begrip en samenwerking rond systemische crisiszorg voor jongeren.
