Jelle Kanters wins Jan Brouwer Thesis Award for master's thesis on Tax Administration

The Royal Holland Society of Sciences awarded eight Jan Brouwer Thesis Prizes and the J.C. Baak Prize to master's students in the humanities and social sciences on Friday, Feb. 10. One of the winners was Jelle Kanters of Tilburg Law School for his thesis 'Selection at whose risk? An investigation into the formal law consequences of risk selection by the Tax Authorities'. In it, he shows that the legal protection of taxpayers is being eroded ever so slightly.
