Our society faces major challenges as a consequence of, among other things, globalization, digitalization, technological developments, pluralism, and a need for sustainability. These challenges are located on regional, national, European, and global levels, and include, among other things, poverty and inequality, insecurity, crime and injustice, and a global pandemic. Tilburg Law School (TLS) contributes to a better understanding of these challenges and the dynamic character of our society. As we do not take anything for granted, always have had eye for context and because of our multidisciplinary focus, research and education of TLS is innovative and distinctive. In this manner, we are meeting today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities.
