Formal communication to the Tilburg community is bilingual in order to ensure that all employees and students can participate. Based on the principle of inclusion, the formal and informal language in education, research and during meetings is adapted to the audience. Our employees are expected to meet the language level suitable for their position.
- For academics: Proficiency in English is required (CEFR: C2 level)
- For (policy) advisors: Proficiency in English is required (CEFR: C1 level)
- For secretaries: Proficiency in English writing and listening is required (CEFR: C1 level)
- For administrative personnel: Good command of English is required (CEFR: B2 level)
