Concerns about the Israeli and Palestinian conflict
We feel connected with all students and academics everywhere in the world who are affected by political unrest, humanitarian disasters, conflicts, or human rights violations. The recent escalation of the Israeli and Palestinian conflict is also having an impact on members of our community.
We understand that this situation can be challenging on an emotional as well as an intellectual level and we want you to know that you are not alone. As an academic community, we support each other in times of uncertainty and division.
We believe it is very important to provide a safe and supportive environment. Calls for discrimination, hatred, and violence in any form will not be tolerated. Our university must be a safe place for our students and staff. A place for open dialogue and interaction, where we reject any form of threat or intimidating behavior.
Together we take care of each other
