Italian for Beginners
This course teaches you the basics of Italian. Each skill is offered, though the course focuses primarily on communicative actions such as introducing yourself, going out with friends, asking directions and catching the train.
You will work on your vocabulary and knowledge of grammar through group and individual assignments. An example of an exercise is using a number of pictures to discuss a certain topic and you will learn to make sentences with fixed combinations of words.
Italian culture is also part of the course. Intercultural differences between the Netherlands and Italy are discussed as well as the question ‘What is typically Italian?’
At the end of the course you can

- Understand and write short texts
