Bio
I am a South African PhD candidate and lecturer in the Department of Organization Studies. After completing my undergraduate degree at Stellenbosch University, I went on to finish my master's degree in Social and Psychological Research as a merit award scholar at the University of the Witwatersrand.
My doctoral research is a multidisciplinary project undertaken in collaboration with the Departments of Organization Studies, Human Resource Studies and Social Psychology. This project considers online labour platforms and considers both organizational- and individual-level factors and how these may interrelate in affecting the working conditions and well-being of workers in Africa. In addition to my research, I also work as a lecturer for the Department of Organization Studies, specifically for the Organizational Behaviour and Organizational Development courses and in supervising bachelor theses.
My supervisors are dr. Francesca Ciulli, dr. Brigitte Kroon and dr. Ivana Vranjes.
