Career
Dessy Rutten, PhD FERSA is a woman in science/business/banking with robust academic background and extensive international experience, both in business as well as academic practice. She has been granted a senior fellowship by Regional Studies Association in the UK since 2011-present with a FERSA title to honour her knowledge/scientific contributions to the association.
Over the last two decades, she has done and finished different/various international assignments/projects/science diplomacy in the areas of international banking/finance, international education management, entrepreneurship, policy advising, international analysis, and strategic development marketing.
Additionally, Dr Rutten FERSA is very passionate about female empowerment, specifically in economic/banking/finance literacy, business mentorship, mental-health wellbeing.
She has worked and lived in ASEAN countries, Schengen areas, and the UK, prior to her permanent settlement in the Netherlands.
