Expertise

As a PhD candidate at Tilburg Center of the Learning Sciences, I am conducting research on the effects of generative AI on L1 education in the Netherlands. I am mapping the perceptions of Dutch language teachers in secondary education regarding the use of generative AI in the subject of Dutch Language and Literature. The results of this survey are used to develop interventions that can be applied in L1 education. In doing so, I focus on various subfields of the subject, specifically digital literacy, writing education, linguistics, and literature education.
