Bio

I am Giulia Bazzan, Assistant Professor in Public Administration/Governance at Tilburg University. I am a comparative public policy scholar, passionate about researching policy and governance effectiveness in the domains of food and environment and with strong comparative methods skills. I use governance, policy, and institutional theories. My research is driven by my curiosity about policy processes, public governance and institutions, policy integration and evaluation.

I have published a monograph based on my doctoral dissertation with Palgrave Macmillan.

I am an enthusiastic member of the Comparative Methods for Systematic Cross-Case Analysis (COMPASSS) international network and of the standing group on Food Policy and Governance of the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR). I am also a founding member of MethodsNet, a new global network for innovation, dialogue, education, and training in social scientific methods.
