Bio

Before my retirement in 2016, I was associated with the School of Catholic Theology as associate professor of dogmatics, special professor at the Xavier Chair for Spirituality and Theology form an Ignatian Perspective, ans as vice dean for education. Since my retirement, I have been a member of the core editorial board that provided a new Dutch translation of the documents of the Second Vatican Council,  participated in research groups on ecclesial leadership, and upervised several PhD students.

Expertise

My expertise concerns the theological reflection on the Church, ecumenism, ministry and Vatican II. I like to reflect on Catholic identity and leadership issues.
