Expertise

My research focusses on the use of data science for military strategic decision-making. Since I am actively serving in the military, my experience and expertise lies with military operations. I am employed within the Data Science Centre of Excellence of the Dutch Department of Defense. I have a masters degree in War Studies, with a specific focus on military strategy.

Collaboration

I have worked on multiple projects related to the use of data science in a military context, varying from debates on ethical issues concerning this to the exploration of opportunities for data science in a military context. I am interested in future collaboration on the interplay between data science (and subfields) and the security domain.
