Bio

I am 0,2 Professor of Practice 'Entrepreneurship in ecosystems' at TiSEM.
TiSEM educates students to become intrapreneurial workers as well as entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs and their firms do not operate stand-alone but are part of ecosystems.

Through research and interaction with students, staff and firms and stakeholders, I want to enlarge knowledge of entrepreneurship-in-ecosystems. Master thesis students e.g. support firms in the region. And I support the team that builds the Entrepreneurship bachelor.

I´m an entrepreneur by myself. I´m founder and owner of Birch. Since its start in 2011 Birch has given birth to several new firms. Birch assists sectors, companies, governments and knowledge institutions in policy, strategy and business development.
I´m economist from Erasmus University Rotterdam and reached my PhD at Leiden University.

I’m open for firms, students, lecturers and policy makers to cooperate on entrepreneurship in the regional ecosystem of Tilburg University!
