Bio

Since 2011 I have been working as a project manager of the Library & IT Services (LIS) division. Before that I worked fifteen years for Ticer, initially a company owned by the university, later a part of the LIS division. Ticer provided consultancy in the field of the digital libraries and organized the annual International Summer School on the Digital Library. I was responsible for the programming and organization of this international event. In addition, I organized courses on digital libraries on location, such as in Barcelona, Patras, at CERN (Geneva), Japan and South Korea. During the fifteen years before that, I held various positions in the university library: as a documentalist with the collection of computer science and management information systems, head of the Excerpta Informatica Documentation Center, head of commercial information services and PR/communication manager. Next to my job at Tilburg University, I am a writer of life stories, in my own company.
