Dr. Piyasinchai is an Assistant Professor of Social Transitions and Behavioral Change at Tilburg University Organization Studies department. She also serves as an Honorary Research Associate at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School and a Faculty Affiliate at the University of Southern California Marshall's Business of Energy Transition Initiative.
She holds a doctoral degree in Strategy and an MPhil degree in Finance, both from the University of Cambridge, and a BA in Economics from Chulalongkorn University. Prior to obtaining her PhD, she had industry experience at the Bank of Thailand as well as at the management consulting firm Korn Ferry Hay Group.
Bell seeks to understand how businesses can take the lead in solving the world’s most pressing problems, such as climate change and inequality, at scale and contribute toward building a sustainable economy. Her research focuses on corporate sustainability, ESG and social impact.
Her work has received a number of international recognitions such as the Best PhD Paper Award from the Academy of Management (AOM, Organizations and the Natural Environment), the Best Paper Award from the Alliance for Research on Corporate Sustainability/Ivey Sustainability Academy, a finalist for the Carolyn B. Dexter Award for Best International Paper at the AOM, as well as a finalist for the Best Dissertation Award at the AOM, and Best PhD Paper Prize at the Strategic Management Society (SMS) Annual Conference. Regarding academic service, she won best reviewer awards from both the AOM and the SMS, and has served as an ad-hoc reviewer at Management Science, Organization Science, and Organization Studies.
