Bio

I am a Professor in Risk Modelling and Communication in Healthcare at Tilburg University but also a driving and pioneering force in Research & Innovation paths for Philips Ambulatory Healthcare business and markets. This has led to business transfers (20+) and propositions in the market. I worked with clinical partners from renowned hospitals and clinics in the US, UK, Japan, India, Singapore, and the Netherlands. I have authored more than 100 scientific publications and hold close to 25 patents and more than 40 patent applications on Music Technology and Healthtech. I am a seasoned grant writer: I coordinated or co-wrote 15 EU and 9 national submitted grant proposals.
