Dr. Sanita van Wyk works as a Lecturer (International Business Law) at Tilburg University. She is a qualified Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, and was previously a doctoral researcher at the Berlin Centre of Caspian Region Environmental and Energy Studies (CREES) at Freie Universität Berlin (Germany) and a TOP 20 awarded postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at Stellenbosch University (South Africa). She is a member of the IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law (WCEL) and Women Leaders for Planetary Health (WLPH). She is the author of the book entitled: The Impact of Climate Change Law on the Principle of State Sovereignty over Natural Resources. Her primary fields of research include international law, comparative law and environmental law. Her current research is focused on the intersection of business law and environmental law.
