Bio

Wim Maas is a lecturer at Tilburg University, Department of Accountancy, and teaches and supervises students in various courses and projects related to accounting. Wim has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Bedrijfseconomie, and three Masters of Science: Accountancy, Academic Teacher in Economics, and Academic Teacher in Management and Organization. Before joining Tilburg University Wim was a teacher of business in senior-year secondary education. Wim obtained the University Teaching Qualification in 2018. At Tilburg University, Wim coordinates the bachelor's thesis in accountancy and several undergraduate courses. Next to this, he occasionally provides professional education to teachers on the topic of cryptocurrencies, one of his academic interests. Next to being a lecturer, Wim is currently a PhD candidate at the Department of accountancy, researching nonprofit governance and reporting.
