Tilburg research is highly regarded in several rankings, but its importance is also expressed in valorization. Business School TIAS, founded back in the 1980s, is an initiative reaching great maturity. Publications such as the Atlas of European Values and also children's books, with texts by full professors who performed for the Children's University, launched in 2005, appear for a wider audience. With impact programs, knowledge is applied to concrete issues such as the Zero Hunger Lab.

Attention to entrepreneurship is growing; a large number of students are starting companies. The latter also play an important role in JADS, the program on data science launched in [RB1] 2016 in 's-Hertogenbosch in cooperation with Eindhoven University of Technology.
