Bio

I am a PhD candidate and Junior Lecturer at the Department of Organization Studies, Tilburg University. Originally from Indonesia, I received my Bachelor of Economics degree from Diponegoro University and Master of Science in Management degree from the School of Business and Management, Institut Teknologi Bandung. 

My PhD project explores regulatory uncertainty and strategic responses of organizations to such uncertainty. Product recall and other safety concerns have heightened the need for regulatory requirements that prioritize public safety. However, updating such regulations often increases the uncertainty within the regulatory environment, presenting not only challenges but also sometimes opportunities for firms. In my PhD project, with the guidance of my supervisors Prof. Dr. Marius Meeus and Dr. Nikolas Rathert, I am investigating the uncertainty in European medical device industry following the introduction of updated regulations.
