Tynke Schepers MA MSc

Bio

I am currently working as a PhD candidate on the Social Construction of Algorithmitisation at TiLT, and I am part of the Justice sector of the AlgoSoc programme. 

I have a bachelor's degree in Public Administration (Bestuurskunde) from Tilburg University, a master's degree in Economic History from the University of Glasgow, and a master's degree in Philosophy of Science, Technology, and Society from the University of Twente. My research focuses on the use of algorithms in the public sector, specifically looking at the different rules, tools and metrics that we have to make sure that the use of algorithms and automated decision-making is responsible and legitimate.
