Spanish for beginners A1

All practice activities are focused on practical and realistic situations. During the course, you will work on various individual and group assignments, so that you can immediately put into practice what you have learned. Cultural topics are also discussed during the lessons.

At the end of the course, you will have reached level A1 of the European Framework of Reference. You will be able to:

• exchange oral and written information about basic personal and biographical data (such as age, date and place of birth, nationality, profession, academic study(s), work experience, place of residence, marital status, family and personal relationships, habits and hobbies);
• understand and provide basic information about places such as countries, cities;
• exchange past experiences (regarding travel, etc.);
• interact with practical goals, such as: shopping, ordering in a restaurant, reserving accommodation and transport, asking for addresses and opening hours;
• ask for and give preference and opinion and indicate whether you agree or not;
• understand the differences and similarities between your own culture and those of Spanish-speaking countries and make these visible to others to promote communication.
• participate in the DELE exam for level A1;

Please note: you will not be able to progress to the Spanish - Intermediate course if you have not achieved a full A2 level.
