Kick-off symposium Academic Collaborative Center for an Inclusive Labor Market
22nd April 2024On April 15, this kick-off symposium took place at the LocHal in Tilburg. The symposium served as an initial meeting of various societal partners with researchers from Tilburg University. Together, they explored the challenges and opportunities for achieving an inclusive labor market that works for everyone and how scientific research can contribute to this. This event was the first step towards the initiative’s research and impact agenda.

19th March 2024On March 7, the Digital Sciences for Society strategic program, in collaboration with TAISIG and the university-wide Academic Collaborative Centers, organized a matchmaking event. Researchers from the various Schools explored opportunities for research collaboration at the intersection of the digital sciences, social sciences, and humanities.

“Moderate population growth best for maintaining broad prosperity"
01st February 2024The Government Committee on Demographic Developments 2050 has issued a recommendation to the government and the House of Representatives on demographic developments, in particular aging and migration, until at least 2050, held against the light of broad prosperity. Tilburg University's Academic Collaborative Centers contributed to this advice through working visits to Brainport Eindhoven and Parkstad Limburg.

Tilburg University puts strategic focus on Broad Prosperity
06th October 2023There can only be broad prosperity if it is actively stimulated, and that is why Tilburg University has embedded this aspiration as a strategic focus in its Broad Prosperity program. This strategic framework helps the university to contribute to the societal transitions that are necessary for a sustainable, inclusive, and just society. The program is being implemented in close collaboration with the government, businesses, citizen representation groups, other knowledge institutions, and civic organizations and networks.

11th April 2023On 15 March, second-year Bachelor’s students in Bestuurskunde (Public Administration) from Tilburg University debated with professionals and organisations on shaping the employment agency of the future.
