Program and courses International Law and Global Governance track
This program reflects how international legal order has been evolving structurally since 1945. What was once a singular and classical focus on inter-state (collective) security, can now be re-mapped as a three-pillar legal order roughly captured by the three categories: 1) International Law and International Relations; 2) Human Rights and Human Security; and 3) Global Sustainability and Environmental Law. By choosing your electives you specialize in your personal field of interest.
This one-year program consists of 60 credits (ECTS):
- 2 core courses (12 ECTS)
- 6 elective courses (36 ECTS)
- Master’s thesis (12 ECTS)
You can start either at the end of August or at the end of January.
You will find a detailed description of the courses and required literature in our course catalog.
Please Note: programs are subject to change. We advise you to look up the current program in Osiris Student at the start of the year.
