AiMark Household Scanner data
20th February 2024Researchers of Tilburg University interested in consumer purchase behavior are now able to access household scanner data of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) provided by AiMark.

RepRisk Data Feed
23rd January 2024In 2024, researchers and students of Tilburg University have access to company data of the RepRisk Data Feed package. The RepRisk Data Feed package consists of risk metrics and underlying scores to assess risk exposure and business conduct of approximately 220.000 public and private, listed and non-listed companies.

Springer OA Agreement: maximum cap reached
15th November 2023The Springer Transformative Agreement with the Dutch university libraries has reached, on the 9th of November, its article maximum quota allocation for the current year of 2023. If your manuscript is accepted between now and January 1, 2024, the Open Access (OA) publishing costs will no longer be covered by the agreement.

Collections university library
The university library has an extensive collection in the fields of economics, law, social sciences, communication, culture, philosophy and religion. In addition, a number of special collections are managed, including the Brabant Collection.

Dissertations
All dissertations are placed together on the second floor. In low cabinets around the central staircase the books are grouped together, per School. All theses can be found here, from the very first one published in 1938 to the most recent one. Nowadays, over one hundred dissertations by Tilburg University researchers are published each year.

The valid Tilburg University Card is the card that is used for multiple purposes and also gives access to the University Library.

Assistance with academic writing, source search and source references for students
Are you looking for tailored help with academic writing? Then the Scriptorium is the right place for help with writing assignments, such as a paper, a report or your thesis. The Scriptorium offers individual support for writing in both Dutch and English.
You can also get help with searching for relevant background literature, consulting specific databases, and questions about quoting and citing sources.

Science Lab
At the Science Lab, there are several computers and robots available that you can use. This is not a class or course: You are completely free to experiment with these robots and try things out that you think are interesting. Science Lab is for all students, regardless of whether they have prior knowledge of programming or not. Join the lab on Tuesday and Thursday from 14:00 to 15:00 hrs., in L104.
Research support for scientists
As a scientist, you can contact the University Library for advice on the use of scientific information in general and Tilburg's library collections, including scientific databases in particular.
The library also provides advice and services relating to the use of research data (finding, storing, describing, sharing, reusing, publishing, archiving) and drawing up data management plans.
