Learning a Language at the Language Center
Tilburg University is an internationally oriented research and education institute. The Language Center assists students, university staff, and non-university students in improving their language proficiency.
Are you highly educated and do you want to improve your Dutch or learn Dutch as a 2nd language (Nt2)? Then you can choose from a wide range of courses. If you want to learn a foreign language, you are also at the right address at the Language Center.
Learn a foreign Language for free with your language vouchers
Tilburg University offers its students the opportunity to follow free language courses. Are you enrolled at Tilburg University and paying tuition fees here? If so, you will have received twelve digital language vouchers at the start of your studies. Exchange students and Pre-Master's students also receive these twelve language vouchers.

Korean for Beginners
In this beginner's course, you will learn Hangul (Korean script), basic vocabulary, and the grammar necessary to communicate in familiar, everyday situations. All skills are covered: speaking, writing, reading, and listening.

Professional English
In Professional English, you will develop proficiency and confidence in using English effectively and clearly across diverse professional and business settings.

Discovering the Dutch
In the course Discovering the Dutch, you will explore a number of themes in Dutch society from different interdisciplinary aspects such as history and sociology. We go beyond the “windmills, cheese and tulips” and anecdotal evidence of how the Dutch are different, and focus on really understanding and explaining what ‘makes the Dutch tick’.
