Learning a Language at the Language Center
Tilburg University is an internationally oriented research and education institute. The Language Center assists students, university staff, and non-university students in improving their language proficiency.
Are you highly educated and do you want to improve your Dutch or learn Dutch as a 2nd language (Nt2)? Then you can choose from a wide range of courses. If you want to learn a foreign language, you are also at the right address at the Language Center.
Learn a foreign Language for free with your language vouchers
Tilburg University offers its students the opportunity to follow free language courses. Are you enrolled at Tilburg University and paying tuition fees here? If so, you will have received twelve digital language vouchers at the start of your studies. Exchange students and Pre-Master's students also receive these twelve language vouchers.

The Art of Presenting
In The Art of Presenting, you are provided with the opportunity to build on existing speaking skills to become a more effective presenter. You will be able to deliver engaging and convincing presentations in an academic or professional setting, both live and online. You will be able to do so with confidence and in fluent English, using a variety of presentation techniques, language, and non-verbal tools.

English Masterclass Speaking
If you need to speak English at a relatively high level (C1 or higher), you can choose this small-scale English Masterclass Speaking to improve your fluency, vocabulary and other aspects of speaking.

French Upper-Intermediate
This course is the sequel to French - Intermediate. Writing skills receive more attention in this course than in previous courses, but the emphasis in the lessons is mainly on speaking skills.

English for Staff: Professional English for Secretaries
As a secretary, you may find that you use your English more and more often. You have more frequent conversations with international students and colleagues in English or you have to send English e-mails. During this course, you will work on these two productive skills: speaking and writing, focusing on real-life work situations for secretarial and education support staff.

German for beginners 2
This course is the continuation of German for beginners 1 and provides a broader foundation. All skills (listening, reading, speaking, and writing) are covered in roughly equal measure, but the emphasis is on oral communication.
