Identity card
Before you can start your program, the university is legally obliged to verify your identity based on a valid passport or identity card. Usually your identity is exchanged automatically, but in some cases you might need to hand over an ID yourself. In that case, no automatic exchange has taken place (yet).
Action to be taken by student:
Make a copy of your passport or the front and back of your identity card. Make sure that it is still valid (on the first day of the start of your program). All of your first names should be listed. If that is not the case, obtain an extract from the registry of births in which all of your first names are written out in full and enclose the original extract with the copy of your ID. Please note that a copy of another type of ID (e.g. your driving license or your residence permit) is NOT sufficient.

Deposit a copy (or copies) in the white mailbox of the Student Desk at the reception of Academia Building. You may also mail them to: Tilburg University, Student Desk A 301, PO Box 90153, 5000 LE Tilburg.
