Overview of all Tilburg University minor programs

During your studies, you have the possibility to compose part of your course package yourself and you can choose to broaden or deepen yourself in a certain direction. This elective is called a minor. Below please find the minors, listed by School.

As part of minor, you have elective space to, for example, take courses at a different School. In choosing a minor, please take the following into account.

  • Please check whether your program has criteria as to the courses you can take.
  • The other School may have requirements in place for admission to a minor or to specific courses. Some courses are not accessible to students from other programs. So please make sure you can actually be admitted to the courses you have in mind.
  • Do you already know what Master’s program you want to take after your Bachelor’s? In some cases you may be able to take a pre-Master’s program as a minor in preparation of your Master’s program.
  • Not all minors are structured in the same way. The number of ECTS is not always the same, nor are the start and duration of the minor. So please take note of this in choosing a minor, and make sure it meets the requirements of the elective space within your program.
  • The processes around applying for a minor also differ from one School to the next. Please find out how and when to apply.
  • Please keep in mind that the information in the Osiris Course Catalogue regarding minors (and courses) is about the minors offered in the current academic year. Changes in the minors for the upcoming academic year may occur. The information about the next academic year will be published in early August.

For questions regarding the above points, always check with your own education coordinator
